Illinois State Police: Combined illegal drugs seized valued at $71M in FY 2021

Addressing the continued opioid epidemic, along with meth addiction, Illinois State Police announced Thursday that the Metropolitan Enforcement Groups dramatically increased the percentage of dangerous drugs and weapons seized in FY 2021, recovering illegal drugs valued at approximately $71 million.
