Chicago weather: Temps will climb above freezing over the weekend
What we know:
Colder air is moving into the region this evening with temperatures expected to drop to around zero by daybreak Friday. Wind chills will likely drop to -5 to -10 with west winds around 5-10 mph.
Friday: Sunny but Cold:
Friday will be sunny and cold with morning temperatures in the single digits and highs near 20. More clouds are set to move in Friday night, which will set the tone for the weekend ahead.
Weekend Forecast/Next Week:
Saturday and Sunday will be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the mid 30s on Saturday and then upper 20s on Sunday.
The milder air will return early next workweek with highs in the upper 30s on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday's high temperatures will top out near 40 degrees.
