1968 documentary ‘Inquiring Nuns' screening at Millennium Park

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - In 1967, two young nuns took to the streets of Chicago to ask pedestrians the ultimate loaded question - are you happy?

Their experiment was featured in the Kartemquin Films documentary "Inquiring Nuns" and has become a time capsule of 1960's Chicago.

This summer, Kartemquin is celebrating their 50th anniversary by sharing one of their most iconic Chicago films with the entire city.

"Inquiring Nuns" will be shown Tuesday night at Millennium Park for their summer film series.

The filmmaker founder and artistic director of Kartemquin, Gordon Quinn, joined Good Day Chicago to talk about what gave him the idea to do this and what he hopes to accomplish with the film.

You can catch a free screening of "Inquring Nuns" Tuesday night at the Priztker Pavilion in Millennium Park for their summer film series at 6:30 p.m.
