Andrew Challenger explores the gender pay gap

College graduates all over the country have been tossing graduation caps and walking across the commencement stage, getting ready to walk into the real world.

However, post-college life isn't as easy for female graduates.  Right out of school, they're already earning only 79 cents, to every dollar paid to men.

Andrew Challenger of  Challenger, Gray & Christmas, a Chicago-based employment agency, joins Good Day Chicago to talk about why the gender pay gap exists and what the government is doing to combat it.
