Caitlyn Jenner shares story at Chicago luncheon
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Caitlyn Jenner took the stage at the Chicago House Fundraiser Luncheon Friday where she shared her experience coming out as a transgender woman.
Jenner talked about how she threw herself into sports so she didn't have to face her gender identity struggle. The fundraiser was attended by members of the Chicago transgender community.
Joining Good Day Chicago on Friday to talk about it are two women who were at the event - Channyn Parker - the care coordinator for TransLife Center at the Chicago House, and Amada Briseno - a success story from the center.
