Comedian Mark Roberts brings play to Chicago

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - He worked as the executive producer of the Chicago-based comedy sitcom "Mike and Molly" and is a co-creator in the mega hit "Two and a Half Men."

Now stand-up comedian Mark Roberts has written a play called "New Country" that hits the Chicago stage in just a few days.

Roberts joined Good Day in studio Monday to talk about the story and what inspired him to write it.
