Englewood students beg CPS to keep their school open in documentary

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - "Why would you take away our home?"

That's what the students from Betty- Shabazz- Barbara A. Sizemore Elementary are asking the Chicago Public School system.

Sizemore Elementary is one of four public charter schools slated to close in June.

In an effort to keep their school open, the students decided to go straight to the source, CPS CEO Forrest Claypool. They did this with the help of local filmmaker David Steiner to create "Saving Barbara Sizemore: The Movie."
