FOX Furry Friend of the Week: Adoptable cat Essie

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - FOX 32 News has teamed up with no-kill shelter PAWS Chicago to bring you an adoptable pet each week. This week, we're featuring an adoptable cat named Essie!

Essie is a gorgeous 2-year-old cat who came to PAWS Chicago as a stray. She currently enjoying getting attention from the PAWS Chicago volunteers at the Adoption Center and sitting up high on a cat tree.

Essie has very soft fur and loves to be brushed and petted. Essie gets along great with kids and would love to find a home where she can be active and play. She is eagerly waiting to find the perfect family for her!

Essie, along with many other adorable cats and dogs, will be available for adoption Monday at noon at the PAWS Chicago Lincoln Park Adoption Center, located at 1997 N. Clybourn Avenue in Lincoln Park. For more information call 773-935-PAWS or visit www.pawschicago.org.
