Preckwinkle discusses proposed amusement tax

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - City, county and the state government are all in trouble these days and looking for taxpayer help.

Months after winning approval for a controversial penny-on-the-dollar sales tax increase, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle now wants to extend the county’s amusement tax to cable TV and recreational activities - like bowling, golf and many for-profit sports leagues.

Preckwinkle joined us LIVE on GDC to talk more about her proposed 3 percent tax to a new list of recreational activities.
