3 Chicago men federally charged with violent armed carjackings

The U.S. Attorney's Office has announced federal charges against three Chicago men accused of violent carjackings.

The incidents happened in April and May of this year.

The carjacking counts are punishable by up to 15 years in federal prison.

Each of the suspects is accused of displaying weapons during the crimes.
