Airoom, a Chicagoland premier design/build company, is seeking experienced architects for its residential architectural division.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have proven experience in single family residential projects, including high end remodeling and renovations.
- Candidate must be capable of producing construction drawings for full service residential design/build projects.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience required with an understanding of residential framing, EMP's and construction detailing. Candidate must be able to design and draw framing details and value engineer drawings for construction.
- Ability to design, draw and specify project details, including windows, doors, flooring, siding, roofing and finish goods for additions, kitchens and bathroom remodeling work.
- Ability to meet schedules and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with internal staff and field personnel required.
- Ability to keep up with a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
- AutoCAD and Excel experience required. Experience with Chief Architect is a plus
- Experience with MS Office products, Word, Excel and Outlook a must.
- NCARB or State of Illinois license a plus.

- Full time position
