7 children hurt when school buses crash on Kennedy Expy.

CHICAGO - Several children were sent to hospitals Wednesday when two school buses crashed on the Kennedy Expressway.

The buses collided about 10:10 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near Ogden Avenue, according to a statement from Illinois State Police.

Seven children and an adult were taken to hospitals with minor injuries, state police said. Additional information was not released.
