African Moon Moth lays eggs in FOX 5 reporter's ear during live shot

FOX 5's Bob Barnard never lays an egg during a live shot, but an African Moon Moth laid two of them in his ear Monday!

It happened while Barnard was at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History for a live interview for Museum Week.

The green moth was on his ear for most of the live shot, and after it flew off, Bob found it had left two eggs behind.

Earlier that morning, Bob held a tarantula. No eggs left behind from that encounter.
