Aurora City Council to consider relocation of Hollywood Casino

The full Aurora City Council will consider the relocation of the Hollywood Casino Tuesday.

AURORA, Ill. - The full Aurora City Council will consider the relocation of the Hollywood Casino.

The proposal is to move the casino from downtown on the Fox River to a spot closer to Interstate 88.

The new casino would also have a 200 room hotel, restaurants and a spa.

If it clears Tuesday, a final vote will be held next week.

If it is approved, construction could start late next year.
