New sign outside Harriet Tubman Elementary first of many planned improvements

A celebration was held Monday outside Harriet Tubman Elementary School as the school received a new outdoor sign. More improvements are planned over the coming year.

CHICAGO - There was a celebration outside Harriet Tubman Elementary School Monday after the school got a new outdoor sign. 

The money was provided by state Sen. Feigenholtz, Ald. Tom Tunney and the "Friends of Tubman" group.
