Chicago Police Department spreads holiday cheer with 'Operation Santa'

The Chicago Police Department found time this week to spread some holiday cheer to the families of fallen and critically injured officers. 

CHICAGO - The Chicago Police Department found time this week to spread some holiday cheer to the families of fallen and critically injured officers. 

CPD posted a video of this year's Operation Santa.

In the video, the mother of fallen Officer Ella French gives Santa and Mrs. Claus a big hug. 

Recovering Officer Carlos Yanez Jr. was also there.
