Christmas tree fire destroys suburban house

Fire in Lisle home started in the Christmas tree

LISLE, Illinois (Fox 32 News) - A house in suburban Chicago was totally destroyed on Saturday by a fire that started with the Christmas tree.

Lisle-Woodridge firefighters arrived at 8:44 a.m. to find the first and second floors in flames. All six family members were taken to the hospital. Their conditions were not revealed.

The house was a total loss. Fire investigators say the fire originated in the Christmas tree.
