Englewood shooting: Woman wounded in buttocks on Chicago's South Side

CHICAGO - A 27-year-old woman was shot in the buttocks Monday on Chicago's South Side.

Around 4 p.m., police say the female victim was inside a vehicle in the 6300 block of S. Yale Ave. when she was struck by gunfire.

The victim was transported to the University of Chicago Hospital in good condition, police said.

Nobody was reported in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
