Glendale Heights gas station robbed at gunpoint

GLENDALE HEIGHTS (STMW) - Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a gas station Sunday night in west suburban Glendale Heights.
At 7:10 p.m., officers responded to an armed robbery at the Shell in the 1400 block of Glen Ellyn Rd., according to a statement from Glendale Heights police.
Two male suspects, one armed with a semi-automatic handgun, entered the gas station, pointed the gun at the clerk and demanded he open the register, police said. The clerk complied, one of the suspects grabbed money from the drawer, and they ran away southbound.
One of the suspects was described as a black male wearing a black hooded North Face jacket, black sweatpants and black high-top gym shoes, police said. The other suspect was also described as a black male wearing a black coat with an unknown symbol on the back over a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.
