Joliet shooting: 18-year-old suspect arrested on multiple charges
JOLIET, Ill. - A Joliet man, 18, was arrested Friday at his workplace in Channahon in connection with a shooting last month, police said.

What we know:
Giovanni Simpson was arrested just before 6 p.m. Friday at his workplace, according to Joliet police.

He was taken to the Will County Jail on charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
The charges stem from a shooting on Jan. 18 in the 300 block of Youngs Avenue in Joliet.
Officers found multiple shell casings in the street and discovered that a residence had been struck by several rounds of gunfire.
One person was inside the home at the time, but no injuries were reported.
