Man shot, carjacked while pumping gas in Calumet Heights
CHICAGO (SUN TIMES / FOX 32) - A man was shot in the leg and car-jacked Wednesday morning while pumping gas in the South Side Calumet Heights neighborhood.
The shooting happened at 7:26 a.m. in the 8900 block of South South Chicago, according to Chicago Police.
The 27-year-old victim was shot in the leg, and was taken in serious condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
Surveillance footage from the convenience store was turned into Chicago Police.
