Man shot in Lake View
CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A man was shot early Tuesday in the Lake View neighborhood on the North Side.
The 22-year-old was shot in the buttocks about 4:40 a.m. in the 1000 block of West Belmont, according to Chicago Police.
He later walked into Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said. Additional information was not immediately available.
Police said the man is a documented gang member and the shooting may have been a drive-by attack.
