Man shot on Lake Shore Drive

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A 25-year-old man was shot Saturday night while riding in a vehicle on Lake Shore Drive in the Gold Coast neighborhood.
The man told investigators he was a passenger in a vehicle travelling about 9:20 p.m. in the 1600 block of Lake Shore Drive that tried to exit at North Avenue when shots rang out, according to Chicago Police. He was struck in the side and back.
He took himself to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he is listed in serious condition, police said.
