Muddy Waters' home in Kenwood granted landmark status

The Chicago home of Muddy Waters has finally been given the landmark status.

The City Council approved the plan on Thursday.

Waters' home in North Kenwood is owned by his great-grand daughter, Chandra Cooper, who plans to turn it into a museum.

It's been a two-year battle for the family to secure landmark status for the home.
