New Harvey mayor to be sworn in Monday, promises change in struggling suburb
HARVEY, Ill. (FOX 32) - Harvey's new mayor is promising change in the struggling suburb.
Alderman Christopher Clark won the election to replace outgoing mayor Eric Kellogg. Clark will be sworn on Monday night.
Clark ran on promises to reform Harvey government, increase transparency, and restore city services that have been cut off.
Harvey has been rocked by corruption accusations. In March, two police officers and Mayor Kellogg’s brother were charged in separate federal cases.
