Girl Scout cookie season has arrived with a new flavor for cookie-lovers to try.

Sales of the iconic cookies help to fund programming and opportunities for the more than 1.1 million K-12 girls who are active in the organization.

What are Exploremores?

Exploremores are rocky road ice cream–inspired sandwich cookies "filled with flavors of chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond–flavored crème," according to the Girl Scouts.

What they're saying:

"Girl Scout Cookie season is always a moment of joy and tradition, and this year promises to be incredibly exciting," Wendy Lou, the cookie program coordinator, said in a press release.
