Police investigate shots fired in the Loop
CHICAGO (SUN TIMES MEDIA WIRE) - Area Central detectives are investigating after shots were fired early Tuesday in the Loop.
Officers responded about 3:35 a.m. to a call of shots fired in the 0 – 100 block of West Lower Wacker Drive and determined a large group of males were firing shots in the area, according to Chicago Police.
Several shell casings were recovered, but no injuries were reported, police said. A silver car may have been involved in the shooting.
No one was in custody early Tuesday as detectives continue to investigate.
