Police warn of Lake View burglaries
CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - Police are warning Lake View residents about two burglaries last week in the North Side neighborhood.
In each burglary, someone forcibly entered a garage and stole property, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.
The robberies happened some time between Feb. 29 and March 1 in the 1300 block of West Eddy Street and between March 1 and 2 in the 1200 block of West Newport, police said.
