Powerball jackpot soars to $1.25 billion for Wednesday's drawing

The Powerball jackpot has now hit $1.25 billion after no ticket matched all six winning numbers in Monday night's drawing.

Lottery players had the opportunity to win last night's jackpot, which was $1.1 billion.
