CHICAGO - Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis is in the hospital after suffering a stroke last Thursday, according to a Chicago Sun-Times report.

Lewis was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2014. The Sun-Times reported the stroke occurred in an area of the brain where Lewis had a tumor removed.
