West Side woman goes missing en route to job interview

Police are searching for a 31-year-old West Side woman who left for a job interview downtown Friday morning and did not return home.

Darnetta Fisher left her home in the 3800 block of West Polk about 9 a.m. Friday and did not return, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police. She was taking public transportation to a job interview downtown.

Fisher is described as a 5-foot-5, 190-pound black woman with brown hair, brown eyes and dark complexion, police said. She was last seen wearing a black down coat, black blouse with white designs, black pants, black boots and carrying a beige bag.
