Wheeling hotel shooting: One man dead, another wounded
COOK COUNTY, Ill. - One man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting Sunday evening at a hotel in Chicago's northwest suburbs, police said.

What we know:
Police responded around 6:51 p.m. to a report of shots fired at the MainStay Suites in the 8000 block of Capital Drive in Wheeling.
Officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to Lutheran General Hospital, where one of them died. His identity has not yet been released.

Police have not released information about what led to the shooting or whether investigators are searching for a suspect.
