Woman unhurt after Auburn Gresham kidnapping

CHICAGO (STMW) - A woman who reported being kidnapped early Wednesday in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood was most likely targeted.

The woman was found in the 600 block of West 83rd Street at 12:13 a.m. Wednesday, according to Chicago Police. She was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where was listed in good condition.

She told officers she had been grabbed from the 4300 block of South Pulaski, police said.

The woman was unhurt but distraught, according to a police source, who said the incident does not appear to be random and the victim was targeted.
