Celebrating World Down Syndrome Day
Tuesday was World Down Syndrome Day --- a day of global awareness advocating for the rights and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. It’s observed on the 21st day of the third month of the year to represent the triplication of the 21st chromosome, which causes Down syndrome.
