Celebrating Black History Month all year long in Chicago

Black History Month was established here in Chicago in 1926. There are so many Black historic figures with ties to Chicago, including Ida B. Wells and Mamie Till, as well as, people still alive today like Jackie Taylor of the Black Ensemble Theater.
