Chicago Public Library Foundation awards two local authors for their literary efforts

The Chicago Public Library Foundation has announced the authors and artists they are honoring this year who have made significant contributions to literature. Ann Patchett will receive the Carl Sandburg Literary Award. Cristina Henríquez will receive the 21st Century Award.
