Source: Chicago family murder investigation could go cold

The frustration is beginning to grow for Chicago Police as the investigation into the murder of six family members in Gage Park enters its fourth week. One source said this case could be another Brown’s Chicken case, referring to the Palatine restaurant massacre of seven people in 1993. It wasn’t solved until nine years later when a woman came forward and implicated her boyfriend and one of his friends.
