Chicago weather: Beautiful stretch ahead with a few rain chances
CHICAGO - We’ve got some pretty nice weather to look forward to this week with only a couple of minor bumps in the road.
Sunny, warm week ahead for Chicago
Let’s start with today, which will feature abundant sunshine and high temperatures right around 80°. It might get a few degrees cooler along the lake.
Tonight will be mainly clear with moonlit skies and comfortable temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s in most areas.
What's next:
Tuesday will be mostly sunny with highs just a little warmer than today, reaching the lower 80s.
Our next chance of rain arrives on Wednesday with a few scattered showers and thunderstorms. Many areas may miss out entirely on any rainfall and at this juncture nothing severe is expected. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s.
Thursday through Saturday look marvelous with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low to mid 80s.
On Sunday, there is a chance for some shower and thunderstorm activity in the region, but it certainly does not look like an all-day event. Highs will be once again in the low to mid 80s.
