Chicago man accused of shooting woman on city's West Side

CHICaGO - A Chicago man was charged in connection with a shooting earlier this month on the West Side.
The backstory:
Greiver Urbina-Romero, 27, was charged with first-degree attempted murder on Friday, according to police.
Urbina-Romero allegedly shot and critically wounded a 41-year-old woman in the 1100 block of South Monitor Avenue, police said.
Urbina-Romero was arrested Wednesday in the Englewood neighborhood. He has a detention hearing scheduled for Friday.
