Bears struck and killed by speeding drivers in Yosemite National Park

Officials at Yosemite National Park are urging drivers to slow down, because four bears have been struck by vehicles in recent weeks.

The animals were hit by vehicles traveling faster than the 25-mile-per-hour speed limit in the park, officials said.

Two bears were killed in the collisions and two others were receiving care.

Yosemite is open during the coronavirus pandemic, but only to guests who make reservations.
