CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS) - A boy turned himself in Thursday after being identified as the person who shot a 14-year-old girl in the neck earlier this week.
The 17-year-old accidentally shot the girl in the chest and neck as he was showing her a handgun in a residence in the 7100 block of South Ingleside, according to a Chicago police press release.
The girl was transported to Comer Children's Hospital in critical condition.
The boy has been arrested and charged with one felony count of aggravated discharge of a firearm.
