Investigation underway after man dies in traffic crash on I-94

An investigation is underway after a man was killed in a traffic crash on Interstate 94 earlier this week.

Illinois State Police (ISP) responded to I-94 westbound near Lake Avenue on Jan. 7 around 7 a.m. to the reported crash.

Police did not provide details on how the incident occurred but confirmed that the vehicle crashed, resulting in the death of a 35-year-old man.

Authorities are seeking information from anyone who was driving in the area at the time of the crash, saw the incident or has dash camera footage.
