Man shot on Thanksgiving Day in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood

CHICAGO - A man was shot on Thanksgiving Day in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood.

At about 12:45 p.m., a 27-year-old man was in the 2300 block of East 68th Street when he was shot by an unknown offender, police said.

The man sustained a gunshot wound to the right foot and was transported to an area hospital in good condition.

Area One detectives are investigating.
