Teenager shot on Chicago's West Side: police

CHICAGO - A 16-year-old boy was shot while getting out of a vehicle in North Lawndale Sunday morning. 

Police say the victim was in the 1500 block of South Homan Avenue just after 2 a.m. when he heard gunshots. 

The victim was driven to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to the left leg. 

No arrests have been reported. Area Four detectives are investigating.
