Chris joined FOX 32 in January 2024 as a digital sports reporter. He writes columns for the website and contributes to the coverage of Chicago’s sports teams that he grew up watching. He primarily focuses on the Chicago Bears and college sports.
Prior to joining FOX 32, Chris held a handful of roles within the USA Today Network. He was previously a Midwest Regional Sports Editor for USA Today, while also serving as a columnist for the Columbia Daily Tribune covering the Missouri Tigers, the SEC, statewide sports topics and local sports.
Chris also spent time covering local sports, IRONMAN Triathlons and more at the St. George Spectrum & Daily News, covering every topic imaginable as a general assignment reporter and editor at the Oxford Eagle newspaper and covering suburban Chicago high school sports for the Daily Herald and Northwest Herald.
In addition, Chris has covered the Winter Olympics, March Madness, NBA Summer League, the WNBA, the NCAA Baseball Tournament and has had bylines in USA Today, ESPN, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Kansas City Star, Nashville Tennessean and Arizona Republic.
Chris is a Vernon Hills native. He earned a bachelor's degree from Bradley University and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern.
