17-year-old boy shot in the leg on Chicago's West Side

CHICAGO - A teen boy was wounded in a shooting on Chicago's West Side Thursday night.

At about 6:59 p.m., a 17-year-old boy was on the street in the 2700 block of West 15th Place when he was shot in the left leg by an unknown offender, police said.

The boy was transported to an area hospital in good condition.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
