Three people were hurt after the car they were in drove into Lake Michigan early Saturday morning on Chicago’s North Side.
CHICAGO - Three people were hurt after the car they were in drove into Lake Michigan early Saturday morning on Chicago’s North Side.
What we know:
Officers responded to the scene a little before 1 a.m. in the 800 block of N. DuSable Lake Shore Drive in Streeterville, according to the Chicago Police Department.
A black two-door car lost control and drove into the lake, police said. The people inside were able to get out of the car and swim onto land.
A 26-year-old man dislocated his shoulder and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He was listed in fair condition.
Two 19-year-old men had minor injuries and were also taken to Northwestern in fair condition.
Police did not say why the car lost control.
