37-year-old man shot in Bronzeville

CHICAGO - A man was shot in Bronzeville Sunday afternoon.

At about 4:10 p.m., a 37-year-old man was in the 500 block of East 51st Street when he was shot in the left ankle by an unknown offender, police said.

The victim self-transported to an area hospital, where he was listed in good condition.

Area One detectives are investigating.
