Chicago police investigate after woman shows up to hospital with gunshot wound to her hand

CHICAGO - A woman sustained a gunshot wound to her hand Wednesday afternoon.

At about 12:42 p.m., a 25-year-old woman self-transported to Jackson Park Hospital with a gunshot wound to her hand, Chicago police said.

She was listed in good condition.

There are no offenders in custody. Area detectives are investigating.
