Man struck by gunfire on I-94 in Cook County

COOK COUNTY - A man was wounded after being shot on Interstate 94 in Cook County Monday afternoon.

At about 4:08 p.m., Illinois State Police troopers responded to a reported shooting on I-94 near 130th Street.

A male victim was struck by gunfire and was transported to an area hospital.

The investigation is ongoing. No further information was made available.
